Meet Bambi Norman, Broker/Owner of R. A. Wilkes Real Estate, LLC. Bambi has held a real estate licensed since 1980, becoming an associate broker very early in her career. In 2003, she purchased R. A. Wilkes Real Estate, that she had worked with for 20+ years prior under broker, Rosalie A. Wilkes; who originally started this woman owned business in 1970. Bambi has continued her busy career always having a home base in the Village of Camden in North Western Oneida County. Her real estate office is located in a quaint 1897 brick Victorian home; which gives all who visit a very comfortable & homey atmosphere to do business in. Bambi is the proud recipient of “Top Producer Awards” every year since she joined the Jefferson-Lewis Board of Realtors.
Bambi has a strong background in agriculture & strives to live a true country lifestyle. She grew up on a large Holstein dairy farm in Westmoreland N.Y. that fed three families. She & her long time husband Bill continue to operate a small farm just outside the Village of Camden; where they raise a variety of livestock, horses, goats & chickens. They still own & drive a team of draft horses on their farm for pleasure; when they get together with family & friends. Bambi is an active member of several agricultural groups including: Farm Bureau, American Dairy Goat Association, American Jersey Cattle Association to name a few. Meet Yvonne Carle, Associate Broker at R. A. Wilkes Real Estate, LLC. Yvonne has held a New York Real Estate license for over 20 years. She grew up in the country outside of Camden all of her life working & playing as a child on a small family farm with a love for horses & Labrador Retrievers. Yvonne & her husband Chris, live just outside the Village of Camden in the country where they have a summer business called “Roughing It Smoothly RV Rentals”. They make many families happy by delivering campers to family vacation destination at state parks & private back yards. Yvonne is a very active member of the Camden Rod & Gun Club where she & husband Chris help to put on the annual Camden Rod & Gun Club Kids Fishing Derby; which puts smiles on nearly 200 kids the first week in June each year with hotdogs, soda & prizes for all. Yvonne is an avid snowmobiler & has enjoyed putting many miles on the trails and knows the Tug Hill region very well.

Meet Erin LaPlante, the newest member of the R. A. Wilkes Real Estate, LLC’s team.
Erin received her N.Y.S. Real Estate Salesperson’s License & joined the real estate team in
January of 2020. With the onset of the pandemic, she was able to kick start her real estate
career into a full-time position much sooner than expected & what a great start it has been! She
has found the real estate business incredibly busy & so rewarding.
Erin is a lifelong resident in the Village of Camden; her roots run deep here having been born &
raised; attending Camden School from start to finish. Erin’s loves living in the village with her
husband Dave; where they have raised their three children. She has learned the value &
security of small-town living, knowing & appreciating all of her neighbors & community; giving &
receiving of comfort & support when & where needed.
Erin enjoys spending time with her family & friends as she strolls through the Village of Camden
while taking her two yellow labs, Gus & Sophie for walks through scenic Forest Park which has
great walking trails & exercise for all.

Meet Lorie Lescenski. Lorie is a Licensed Real Estate Associate Broker with R.A. Wilkes Real Estate LLC in Camden, NY. She started her career in real estate in 2010 as a Clerical Assistant. After a lot of hard work, commitment, and education, she obtained her N. Y. State Sales Persons License in 2015 & then, with even further education and experience, became a N. Y. State Licensed Real Estate Associate Broker in 2018. Lorie is a member of the Jefferson-Lewis Board of Realtors, the New York State Association of Realtors, and National Association of Realtors. Lorie also works for Camden Central School District as an Administrative Assistant and has done so for the past 20 years. Needless to say, she has met so many wonderful people in the Camden community and surrounding areas. Lorie feels so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with and get to know the many people who have made her who she is today!
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her amazing family and friends. Lorie is part owner of a family camp located in West Amboy; she calls it her little piece of paradise! She also loves snowshoeing, gardening, jet skiing, swimming, kayaking, singing, decorating, entertaining & hosting special gatherings throughout the year. When she really needs to change things up a bit, she takes to the sky and goes for a ride with her very dear friend, Ron, in his Cessna172 Airplane out of Richland Airpark. He’s currently working towards his helicopter license, so that will be next…a helicopter ride! After a long hard day, Lorie looks so forward to going home to see her furry friend, Oliver. He’s the orange, tiger cat who has won a special place in her heart and he is always good for some laughs. Ollie is one cool cat and is the absolute best!
Lorie has lived her whole life right here in beautiful Upstate New York. She enjoys the changing of the seasons each year. Meet Bill Norman, husband of broker/owner Bambi Norman. Bill has been a New York Licensed Real Estate Sales Agent for over 20 years & comes from a background as a lifetime dairy farmer, beef cattle raiser & also an over the road tractor trailer driver. Bill assists the office team of agents with various duties at the real estate office while the agents are out on the road showing properties. Bill enjoys their small farm where he grew a huge garden during the pandemic in 2020; donating his crops to feed many area families with a variety of vegetables & fruits throughout both the summer & into fall with a variety of winter squashes & hundreds of pounds of potatoes. Bill still enjoys his farm duties including making their own hay to feed their livestock, mowing & manicuring several acres of lawn & continuing to maintain all of the farm buildings & making improvements as needed. Bill is an active member of several agricultural groups including: Farm Bureau, American Jersey Cattle Association & a proud supporter of the FFA-Future Farmers of America; as he was a N.Y.S.
